Hope all is well.
Up for your viewing pleasure is a somewhat oversize book. Hard cover with dust jacket titled The American South, Four Seasons of the Land. This is a First Printing book 1980. According to the inside flap "The American South is the first book to picture these fourteen states in photographs as timeless as the land itself." The dust jacket does have wear and tear and it is price clipped on the inside front cover, so the dust jacket will need some clear tape. There is some very minor or slight staining on the front cover edge of the dust jacket. I do not know if the dust jacket has any fading to it or not, the spine of the dust jacket looks to be a lighter color than the rest of the dust jacket. The pages are tight in the binding and I did not see any rips or tears on them. I did not see any previous owners marks as well. There are 187 pages in this book. The pages feel like they have a ripple? on the them. When you run your fingertips across the whole page there feels like ripples or a wave feeling to them. Other than what I have described the book is in pretty good condition. As is condition.
Do to the age and unknown previous environment of some of the books, the binding glue will be more fragile or less likely to hold after use.
All of the books will have a possibility of some slight scratches, indention's, maybe some shelf wear on the top and bottom of the spines, possible bent or creased pages and corners. Pages may or may not of have been written on. There may be previous owner's marks.
There is a possibility of the item will have dust, small scratches, stains, dings, scraps, scuffs, smudges, finger prints, water spots, gouges, manufactures defects and blemishes, missing and or incomplete parts and such.
Please remember that the items are used. And will show signs of use.
All items should be cleaned to your standards before use.
