The Zinzin Road by Fletcher Knebel, Coubleday & Company, Inc., Garden City, New York, 1966, copyright 1966. The Zinzin Road by Fletcher Knebel (PC/Evaluation 1963) is the first commercial novel written about the Peace Corps. Set in the fictional West African country of Kalya, it focuses on early PCVs and life in West Africa. The book was published by Doubleday in 1966 and a few copies can still be found in well stocked libraries and yard sales.This is a hardcover with wearing and staining. On the inside front cover page there is a previous owner's name written and a stick to tell who the book belongs to. There is a stain on the page before the title page. There are 443 pages.
The books could have some of the following, scratches, scuffs, scraps, missing or torn pages, creased or bent pages and corners, writing on the pages, missing or torn dust jackets, bent or broken covers and who knows what else, dust and dirt after all we do live in a dusty climate and anything major that I find, I will note it above.
